In the past ten years I have been up (240) and down (135) the scale time and again. This time I am on the 'up' side of the scale. I want to loose the weight. I figure the humiliation of putting this on the internet and the friends that I have told of this to hold me accountable just might make this happen. It is going to take a lot of encouragement and support. Not to mention the hard work on my part. Follow my struggle here.

Tulsa Run Training will be upon us in no time.
In addition to the plan for me to run a half marathon this fall I have volunteered to be a 15K run leader for Tulsa Run Training.
Have I ever ran a 15K? No. Can I do it. Yes. If Coach Kathy says I can I can and I will. 9.3 miles in downtown Tulsa. I am still really enjoying running. Saturday a friend from the C6 and I lead one of the Couch to 5K groups and we had a good time - it was fun to help motivate people to run. So if you want to train for the Tulsa Run on October 30 pop into Runners World Tulsa and sign up. You just might get me as your run leader.
